Caprese Pasta Salad

Perfect spin on regular pasta salad for hot summer nights

  • 1 Box Your Choice of Pasta
  • 1 carton Grape Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 1 tub Fresh Mozzarella Balls
  • Fresh Basil
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Dressing of Your Choice I used Krafts Italian Olive Oil Vinaigrette and Olive Garden Dressing.
  • Garlic Salt
  • Fresh Parmesan Cheese For garnishing


  1. Boil Your box of noodles

  2. Cut your grape tomatoes in half (if you wish)

  3. Cut your red onion how ever you prefer it done. Either chunks, or long strips.

  4. Chop up your fresh basil

  5. Chop up and mince your fresh garlic

  6. Drain, and dry off your mozzarella balls. If the pre-made balls are not available, chop up a fresh mozzarella log as best you can

  7. Drain your pasta, and put it in a large bowl and let it cool off for a few minutes.

  8. Add in everything you have prepared so far and give it a good stir.

  9. Add in whatever dressing you have chosen (or just plain olive oil), and give it another good stir

  10. add in as much garlic salt as you like, stir really well.

  11. Top with freshly grated parm, and you're all done!
